Training With Team Bombshell Month 2

As many of you know  I have also joined Team Bombshell.  I am currently finishing week 2 of month 2. So far its great but hard. Right now I am in "improvement season". Improvement season is the time to fill up and create round muscles. Therefore my carb intake is higher but I have fewer cardio sessions and lift heavier :-) during my strength training. This will change in the beginning of 2012 as I approach competition season. I will be back to more cardio and fewer carbs.

The biggest change for me as far as their meal plan is no powdered protein. All of my protein has come from animal protein. To be honest I feel like me stomach agrees with the animal protein more than the powder stuff. I do miss it though. It was always so gratifying to have a cold protein shake after a hard workout.

I have noticed a difference in the shape of my body since I joined Team Bombshell. Their workouts are way more conducive to NPC Bikini than what I was doing before.  They incorporate a much higher work volume than what I am used to.  My waist is more narrow, my lower back is tighter, and my legs and glutes are more shapely.

My current body fat % is like 13.75%-13.90% @ 131.00 lbs.

So what's on my agenda for 2012?

          March 31, 2012
NPC Steve Stone Metropolitan Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini & Men's Physique             Championships.

The Metropolitan show will be my first show in 2012. I am so excited to go to the BIG APPLE and compete!  I am planning on ordering a brand new suit with CJ again. I don't know if I mentioned it before but my blue suit got LOST in the mail when I sent it back for some modifications. Big bummer but CJ and the girls are empathetic to my situation and are hooking me up!

So if my next show is March 31 then that gives me exactly...105 days until I step on stage for the first time as a BOMBSHELL! I am so anxious to see what package I bring to stage after training with Bombshell. Based on what I am seeing now I think it will be a big improvement.

My challenge now is to train hard and eat 100% during this week, enjoy Christmas with my family and then get right back to it without hesitation.

I am not going to lie.  I have been distracted and discouraged to continue.  I need you, blog followers to hold me accountable.  I want this and I know I will regret this if I do not continue. Sometimes it just seems so easy to just throw my hands up and quit because of stress factors like money, time, and holidays.

If there is a will then there is a way. I must find my way. I have all the tools now to find my way and succeed. Its virtually up to me. Your support helps me SOOOOOOOOO much!  Thank you for following me on my journey.

XOXO,
