What a bad time to be sick! The past few days I have been dealing with sneezing, coughing, runny nose, sore throat, and trouble sleeping. I am 2 days out from my final show and things have been going great until I got slapped in the face with nasty germs! I have been fortunate enough to have a caring fiancee to help me out as much as possible and blessed with understandable clients/members. I have been getting a little bit of my workouts in but not as much as I'd like. Its hard when I am also carb cycling. I should be feeling better by tomorrow and I get to begin my carb load!
We applied my first coat of Pro Tan today. It was was not fun standing there for 20-30 minutes with this freaking head cold let me tell ya.
Anyway, I am tired of hearing myself complain. This weekend will be a blast. A lot of friends from Sandpoint will be at the show to cheer me on. If you haven't gotten your ticket yet go to www.spokanebodybuilding.com. Click on "Event Info", scroll down to"DVD'S and Tickets." You only need to buy the pre-judging ticket for $15 to watch the bikini division. It starts at 10am and I am expected to go on stage between 12:30-1pm. Then we are hittin up PF CHANGS! I cannot wait.
On another note, I just watched The King's Speech. great movie! It really affirmed that through perseverance anything is possible. Everybody struggles one way or another. Those who stand out are the ones who persevere and refuse to be beaten by self-doubt and pity. If you haven't seen it, check it out! It's out on DVD.
XOXO,
Abby
