2 Days Out From First Bikini Competition

So today I have been running around getting everything ready for the big show! I only have two days before my big debute on stage.  This far into pre-contest prep I have had to make some adjustments to my food and really tighten up around the edges so that I can come in as lean and as tight as possible.  What foods are on the approved list for someone competing in a Bikini show in two days?

Approved Food: Brown rice, sweet potato, 2 dozen hard boiled eggs, tilipia, green tea, raw almonds, dark greens, steak, chicken, oatmeal, and protein powder.  There will be no eating out for this girl. What I am NOT eating: Processed salty and sugary foods. I will not take in any sodium on the day before the show or the day of.

I will be drinking 1/2 gallon of green tea as a natural diuretic to cut water. Tanji wants me to cut no more than 2-3 pounds of water. What am I looking forward to?  The candy I get to eat before we walk on stage! That's right I get to eat a snickers bar before I go on stage. Why?  Well I am still looking into that but it is on the list to bring and apparently a secret that many competitors swear by. I'll let you know how that one goes. I cannot believe its finally game time. In 2 days I will be walking out on stage and my physique will be judged and compared to beautiful women who have probably worked just as hard as me to get there. It is definitely not a sport for the weak. It's a physique competition and the girl who presents her physique the best will win, bottom line.  How I do will depend on who is standing next to me and how the judges score based off what they appreciate and look for. All judges are different.  Bikini is a very subjective sport. I could place 1st with one panel of judges and 10th with a different panel and not have changed anything about my presentation or physique. It's a gamble and you can only go in with your best and hope that the judges that night think that you are the best among the other competitors.

I'll keep you posted. For now I am logging off to  pack, cook, and then hitting the road bright and early.

XOXO,

Abby
